What To Expect

Overview

  • Antelope Canyon is one of the most famous and beautiful canyons in the world and one of the photographers' favorite spots, located in northern Arizona. The nearest city is Page, Arizona, belonging to the Navajo Aboriginal reservation. The Antelope Canyon is divided into two separate parts on the terrain, called as Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon.
  • Upper Antelope Canyon is called Ts bighnln, 'the place where water runs through rocks' by the Navajo. It is the most frequently visited by tourists because its entrance and entire length are at ground level, requiring no climbing; and because beams of direct sunlight radiating down from openings at the top of the canyon are much more common. Beams occur most often in summer, as they require the sun to be high in the sky. Winter colors are more muted.
  • The experience trip is about one hour. Professional Navajo tour guide leads visitors into Antelope Canyon and teaches you how to take beautiful pictures, no matter whether you are using mobile phone or camera.
  • Q: What is the difference between tour code PG-6782 or PG-6783 or PG-6784? A: Both are the same experience tours, including tickets to Upper Antelope Canyon. They are different departure times and meeting points.
  • You can choose the more comfortable tour with Upper Antelope Canyon + Horseshoe Bend, Page Hotel pick-up. There are better morning, noon and afternoon time slots available. Please visit https://www.upperantelope.com/antelope-canyon-horsebend-halfday-tour-11997.html

The size of our group was manageable. Our guide was excellent, making sure everyone got photos at key locations and in some cases lining up shots for us. He also shared the history of the canyon. We have many wonderful images to remember our experience in this amazing location.

This was one of the most rewarding experiences we have ever had that included nature. Our guide was very helpful with hints for using an iPhone. Very concerned about keeping people safe and in a private group so not crowded for photos.

Would definitely recommend this tour. Our tour guide was Frank, who I Would highly recommend. He was so informative, he even took my camera and set it up to take stunning photos inside the canyon. He did the same with the rest of the group too.

Mike was the best tour guide! He really knows how to help you take the best pictures of the canyon! He took the time with our group even letting another tour from another company pass us so we had more time to enjoy the canyon. I had a wonderful time! My bucket list item was happily checked. Ask for Mike!

This was a fabulous experience. Our guide Abraham did an excellent job. He helped us get wonderful pictures, he had very interesting stories and information about the canyon, himself, the Navajo people. Some people in our group had some physical limitations and Abraham was very attentive and understanding. Everyone needs to see this remarkable natural wonder

What a great experience. The canyon is surreal and very hard to describe to others. You have to experience it for yourself. Our guide, I don't remember her name, was absolutely great. Very well versed in everything Antelope Canyon, and a hell of a picture taker.

This was the highlight of our vacation. Stunning views and pictures. Guide was very helpful and knowledgable. Investigate before booking to find the best time to view the canyon.
